A robust solution for preventing deer browse to young trees. We recommend that trees are fenced to keep the deer from helping themselves, not only to the fruit, but the leaves, branches and bark before there is even a hint of fruit. There are many products marketed to discourage deer from browsing fruit trees, but with the severe deer pressure seen in our area we always recommend some sort of fencing. We find that a 6′ diameter circle of 6′ welded wire fence surrounding each tree is a good solution for fencing trees individually and that’s just what this kit includes.
